Salon du Bourget : 127 commandes pour Airbus
Airbus a engrangé 127 commandes et engagements d’achats au Salon du Bourget, a annoncé vendredi John Leahy, le directeur commercial de l’avionneur européen, jugeant ce salon meilleur qu’attendu.
Si la majorité des commandes ont porté sur les mono-couloirs de la famille A320, un protocole d’accord a néanmoins été signé avec Turkish Airlines pour sept long-courriers A330. Il s’agit là de la première commande pour des avions de ce type depuis le crash du vol AF447.
Le total des commandes et engagements atteint ainsi 12,9 milliards de dollars. Les commandes fermes s’élèvent à 58 appareils pour 6,4 milliards de dollars, a précisé M. Leahy.
Il s’est montré confiant de voir ces intentions d’achats signées au Bourget se transformer dans les prochaines semaines en commandes fermes. Il a précisé ne pas avoir eu d’annulations ou de reports de commandes pendant le salon.
Selon lui, Airbus a enregistré –si l’on prend en compte les annonces faites au Bourget– des commandes pour près de 150 avions depuis le début de l’année, ce qui est un bon signe pour la suite. Il a aussi déclaré qu’il espérait un commande de l’A380 en Asie cette année, sans préciser de quel pays il s’agissait.
