Transat A.T. leases two wide-body jets from CIT Aerospace International
Tour operator Transat A.T. Inc. said Wednesday it has agreed to lease two Airbus A330 wide-body jets from CIT Aerospace International.
The move is part of a fleet renewal program at the company’s charter airline division Air Transat, under which it is replacing older Airbus A310s.
Air Transat currently operates five of A330s, three more will be in operation by the end of 2010 and another in 2011, bringing the total of A330s to nine.
Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
