FlightCode: Neat iPhone app added to the app store
FlightCode is a new iPhone app that lists ICAO and IATA Codes for airports, aircraft types and airlines.
It also lists the country codes/registration informations of an aircraft.
- You want to know where the nicely colored aircraft comes from? Look at the country codes of FlightCode.
- You want to look where on your route the fuel stop is, but you only have shortcuts on your tickets? Look at the IATA airport codes in FlightCode.
- You like to know what the shortcuts on your luggage labels tell you? Or you just want to look in the FlightCode database when you don’t have internet access during the flight?
Oh, you want to find stranded travelers?
Use Boarding: look at your airport code in FlightCode, include it in a tweet beginning with #boarding and voilà !
You’ll get a reply with the list of the other users in the same airport in the last hours.

Woot! @myriam wrote her first post on the English “Now Boarding” blog! Congrats! http://is.gd/jWia Who’s gonna write the first comment?

and at only 1,59€ on the appstore, it’s a bargain for those who are travelling a lot i’d say ^^
Thank you very much for your report about FlightCode. I’m working every day to make this app even better and more complete. Don’t hesitate to let me know your thoughts and feedback (flightcode@poolzeit.de). Again, thanks and best regards,
